This page gives details of Sakai Masaaki to MAGNETS, the new band formed in 2024, by Masaaaki Sakai, Mickie Yoshino and Shishido Kafka.

Masaaki Sakai is of course the actor who played Monkey in the late 1970s Japanese TV show of the same name, while Mickie Yoshino is the founder and keyboardist of Godiego, the band who performed all the music in Monkey. Shishido Kafka is a famous actor and drummer.

Masaaki Sakai said that he formed this band because he wanted to be in the last band of his life.
