Monkey, Pigsy, Sandy and Tripitaka costumes now available to hire in the UK!

The Monkey, Pigsy, Sandy and Tripitaka outfits used by Fabulous Films for promoting the UK Monkey DVDs are now available for hire to anyone interested...

Here's the details for hiring each of the outfits:

1) He would need a £400 cash deposit and a £60 charge for a week's hire to cover wear and tear etc.
You could send a £400 cheque as deposit. He would bank it, and when it clears, he would then release the outfit. The deposit would be refunded immediately on return of the costume.

He can mail the whole kit (minus staff) to anyone interested.

Note: If you're concerned about sending this amount of payment in the post, if you're within the M25, he could meet with you to exchange the costume for cash payment.

Here's an account from one of the Monkey fans who's borrowed the Monkey costume:

"OUTRAGEOUS!!!! The Suit was fantastic and the effect it has is unbelieveable!

I apparently have lots of photos to sift through as I organised key people to take the piccies and they have had them developed already! The digital camera was dropped and broken which was a nightmare... but all the other images taken can be scanned in to use on the website....

I mocked up a Cloud out of an apple box nailed to my skateboard, then staple-gunned loads of cotton wool to it.... how funny was that!!! I was tic-tacking around the dancefloor on my cloud to everyones amusement!

Cheers for such a cool idea...

So... overall I think it went rather well.... and other than some of those added decorative pieces of leather coming off the boots as you said would happen... the outfit stood up to the test!"

Following on from the news on 26 August 2002 that Fabulous Films had commissioned the manufacture of a Monkey outfit that UK Monkey fans can hire out from them, they've now had Pigsy, Sandy and Tripitaka costumes made too!

Here's the information from Fabulous Films:
"Just to let you know I have taken delivery of Pigsy's Sandy's and Tripitaka's costumes, they are quite stunnning!!! They are in fact accurate to the finest detail!!! I still have to make Pigsy's and Sandy's staff thingies and steal a white horse! They are available for rentals too at the same rate. I will do some photos as soon as i find some willing victims to dress up."
